Social Futures is seeking a creative Social Media and Digital Specialist to strengthen our digital presence and deliver engaging social media and digital content that shares the impact of our services, supports advocacy priorities and connects with our communities.
Working as part of the Marketing and Communications Team, you will also contribute to broader marketing campaigns and activities that support Social Futures’ purpose of creating positive social change.
As the Social Media and Digital Specialist, you will lead the planning and delivery of social media and digital content that reflects Social Futures’ voice, values and community impact.
This is a hands-on role that combines campaign planning, content creation, short-form video, social media moderation, digital reporting and collaboration with teams across the organisation.
Experience with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Canva, social media scheduling tools, website content management systems, video editing software, email marketing platforms and analytics/reporting tools will be highly regarded.
An understanding of newer and emerging social media platforms, audience behaviours and content trends will also be beneficial for future campaign planning and channel development.
You bring sound judgement, creativity and a thoughtful approach to creating respectful, accessible communications for diverse audiences.
You are comfortable working with data and insights to understand what is working, where improvements can be made, and how digital activity can better support engagement and impact.
