Founded in New Zealand in 1959 as specialist geotechnical consultancy, Tonkin + Taylor has grown over the decades to be one of Australasia's premier geo-environmental consultancies with over 200 geotechnical professional, and nearly 1000 staff internationally.
Now firmly rooted in Australia, in Victoria, our growth has been based on quality technical work and close client collaboration on important projects in the private and public sectors across transportation, energy, land development, waste and industry. Current projects include the Mordialloc Bypass and the Avon River Bride, and we are involved in tender design for the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Geotechnical Engineer to be involved in geotechnical design and the undertaking, planning and management of ground investigations across a range of projects. Your communication skills will be excellent, you will be confident interacting with clients, have strong technical skills and be passionate about your work.

About you:
* Qualified with a relevant Science/Engineering Degree
* You will possess 3+ years industry experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology
* Experienced in the undertaking, planning and management of ground investigations
* Expertise in geotechnical design
* Preferred experience in a consulting environment
* Proven report writing capability
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
* Project management skills
