Role
The Role
Greenwood College is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and creative Health & Physical Education (HPE) teacher to join our team. Suitable applicants will contribute to the collaborative culture and support the development of the HPE teaching and learning program. Applicants should have robust interpersonal skills, be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with an inclusive approach, robust teaching and classroom management, and the ability to engage all students in active and positive learning.
We are looking for team‑oriented educators who can deliver innovative, relevant and challenging courses and programs across Year 7–12, including Senior Secondary ATAR and General courses. Experience in planning and teaching Years 7–12 Health, Years 11–12 Physical Education Studies and Years 9–12 Outdoor Education, and leading targeted programs such as AFL, Netball, Athletics and Swimming will be considered favourably. Strong communication and liaison with parents and external networks to foster community partnerships are highly regarded.
Successful applicants should demonstrate the ability to lead and drive HPE specialist courses and initiatives and contribute to a wide range of extra‑curricular activities. An ability to work with diverse students, differentiate programs for varying ability levels, and understand the Greenwood College context is highly regarded.

To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
