About the role
Join our team as a Gardener/Groundskeeper at The Village Retirement Group Pty Ltd in Taigum, QLD, and help keep our retirement village grounds looking their best. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining our beautiful gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they remain inviting and well cared for.
You'll work alongside a supportive team that values quality, attention to detail, and take pride in creating outdoor spaces for our residents to enjoy.

What you'll be doing
* Perform regular lawn mowing, edging, and general garden maintenance
* Plant, care for, and prune trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping elements
* Ensure gardens and grounds are kept clean, tidy, and free of weeds
* Operate and maintain gardening equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
* Assist with minor landscaping projects as needed
* Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
* Contribute to a safe work environment by following all health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a gardener, groundskeeper, or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual gardening tasks
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
