About the company:
* Chemical company currently undergoing substantial growth.
* Located in the western suburbs of Melbourne
* Casual ongoing contract
* This role involves 12-hour shifts and will be working 80-hours per fortnight.
About your duties but not limited to:
* Testing finished products by a variety of basic wet chemical techniques
* Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting instruments
* Data entry & database upkeep
* General Laboratory housekeeping
Skills & experience:
* Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, or a related discipline
* Ideally 1- 2 years laboratory experience, specifically in the chemical, petrochemical or similar industry.
* Are a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
