Your Role

Education

As a principal, you will play a vital role in our education system. Your voice will be front and centre, guiding your actions with our values-based approach. You will:

Salary: $147,175 to $156,832 + 12% Superannuation

Period of Appointment: Ongoing - Start date of 1 January 2026 (or negotiated with the successful applicant)

Hours: 70 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

* The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires registration for work in a regulated activity related to children. Registration must remain current and may be checked during employment. Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) is required.
* In accordance with section 106 (a) and (b) of the Education Act 2016, all Principals must be a registered teacher with full registration as defined by the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
* Satisfactory completion of the School Leadership and Management Prerequisites (SLMP).

Desirable Requirements

* Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
