About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team on a full-time basis. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food quality and consistency while contributing to a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present dishes to the highest standard in line with CHU's menu specifications
* Manage your designated section during service
* Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
* Adhere to all food safety and WHS requirements
* Support and mentor junior kitchen team members
* Contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to step up
* Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking techniques (highly regarded)
* Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
