Could you be our next Boilermaker? Based in a busy workshop in Banyo, this is a hands-on fabrication role working across a mix of steel parts and general workshop work in a fast-paced environment. This isn't a "clock in, clock out" type of role. What's in it for you? Your New Role Varied fabrication work - not repetitive production Strong long-term opportunity in a steady workshop You'll be working in a hands-on environment supporting production, fabricating steel parts and keeping jobs moving through the workshop. Key responsibilities include: Fabricate steel parts for industrial equipment Perform MIG welding using an oxy set Operate workshop machinery including guillotine, brake press and cropper Read and interpret technical drawings Work across multiple jobs in a busy workshop Maintain high standards of quality and safety Support general workshop operations as required What you'll need Proven experience as a Boilermaker or Fabricator Strong MIG welding experience (with oxy set) Ability to read and work from technical drawings Experience in a workshop/manufacturing environment Experience operating guillotine, brake press / cropper Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team What sets you apart You can work from drawings with minimal supervision You take pride in your weld quality and fabrication work You stay productive and keep things moving You're reliable, consistent, and a solid team player You enjoy hands-on, varied workshop work This isn't a repetitive role - you'll be working across a variety of fabrication jobs, keeping the work interesting and practical.
