**Join one of the most exciting Queensland Government departments as a Lease Coordinator in an initial 3-month contract (with a high possibility of extension) as part of the Leasing Team, looking after a portfolio of leased buildings and conducting lease negotiations.
About the Role:**
As a Lease Coordinator, you will:
* Assist with the delivery of leasing projects and the provision of office accommodation for the Department.
* Provide lease management advice to teams involved in commercial leasing for the State Government's office property portfolio.
* Undertake lease negotiation and lease management of a portfolio of leased buildings.
* Provide timely and well researched advice on marketplace conditions and industry trends to contribute towards the development of whole-of-Government Office Accommodation Strategic Plans.
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Collect and analyse data and assist with the preparation of briefing notes and information papers for the Government Office Accommodation Committee and for the Departmental Executive.
* Develop networks across Departments and with relevant industry organisations.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Commercial leasing experience
* Facilities maintenance experience
* Strong customer service skills (liaising with landlords and tenants to resolve maintenance issues)
* Financial experience (checking and preparing invoices for payment)
* Administrative experience (updating lessor contact and billing information in Manhattan or similar property/finance systems)
