Warehouse Manager Role Summary

The successful applicant will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality outputs. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and excellent organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations: Supervise all day-to-day operations in the warehouse, from receiving stock to dispatching orders.

2. WMS Expertise: Use WMS to manage inventory, track stock levels, process orders, and handle stock transfers.
\
3. Pick and Pack: Supervise the picking and packing of orders, ensuring accuracy, speed, and quality.
\
4. Stock Arrangement and Transfers: Organize the warehouse layout, ensuring stock is properly arranged and easy to access.
\
5. Stone Processing: Supervise the cutting and mounting of stone tops to ensure high-quality outputs.
\
6. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff.
\
7. Sales Team Coordination: Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely order fulfillment and meet sales targets.
\
8. Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and company policies.
\
9. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot operational issues and find effective solutions.
\
10. Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse efficiency and team performance.

11. Skills and Qualifications:

12. Experience: Previous warehouse management experience, ideally in retail or wholesale settings, with a focus on handling bathroom products or similar goods.

13. Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to manage manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock.

14. WMS Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
\
15. Leadership Skills: Strong personality with proven leadership skills.
\
16. Stone Handling Experience: Experience in cutting and mounting stone tops, or the ability to quickly learn these processes.

17. Organization and Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, orders, and warehouse flow.
