Position Context
Reporting to the Community Services Manager, the role is responsible for the supporting
services that contribute to the delivery of the City of Palmerston Community Plan, including the following:
* A high standard of Customer Service both internally and externally.
* Presentation of Council facilities.
* Supporting implementation events and programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Support customers in the basic use of equipment, including computers and applications.
* Create bookings and process payments.
* Support with the development and review of simple procedures and processes.
* Various administrative tasks.
* Support existing events and programs.
* Assist with enquiries over the phone, in person and via email.
* Other duties and required.
What Council is looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
* Proven strong customer service skills with the ability to deliver exceptional service.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills.
* Ability to work independently and follow established work procedures.
* Ability to work varied hours.
* Demonstrated experience in using office technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Current NT Driver's License and valid Ochre Card.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
