Job Opportunity for Medical Oncology Advanced Trainee
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated medical professional to fill the role of Medical Oncology Advanced Trainee at Lismore Base Hospital. This position offers the successful applicant valuable experience in a multidisciplinary team environment, working under the guidance of senior clinicians as part of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) training program.
The Medical Oncology team is committed to delivering high-quality cancer care across a range of cancer types. As an accredited RACP trainee, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with junior medical officers and medical students, participate in clinical meetings, teaching and training programs, and receive regular performance reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide effective clinical management of patients, including assessment, treatment decision-making, procedure performance, and record-keeping, under appropriate supervision by Attending Medical Officers;
* Develop expertise in medical practice in a complex clinical environment;
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role;
* Advanced ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment, utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise;
* Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in the area of Medical Oncology;
