Senior Mental Health Leadership Role
The position of Senior Mental Health Manager is a senior-level role responsible for leading and managing a multidisciplinary team providing clinical services to adults experiencing complex mental illness or psychological distress.
This leader will oversee a caseload of clients with the support of an allocated psychiatrist and the multidisciplinary team, as well as high quality governance structures.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high quality interventions and achieving sound outcomes under limited supervision
* Contributing to the multidisciplinary team processes, undertaking professional development and professional supervision including the provision of supervision to staff at level HP1 & HP2, Allied Health Assistants and students
* Participating in quality initiatives and strategic planning
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Requirements:
* Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011
* Compliance with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy
* Compliance with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals
