The position of Administration Officer Child Protection will:
- Provide efficient booking service for all patients and provide efficient utilisation of booking time available for Consultants and Clinicians.
- Provide a high level of efficient and effective administration support to the Child Protection department
- This Position provides a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
About the Role
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary paediatric treatment environments and an ability to work in a complex front-line service delivery environment, specifically child protection and forensic medical service.
Provide reception services, including:
- Greeting patients and their families and responding to their needs
- Providing a professional telephony service
- Providing directions and advice regarding locations of services/and/or patients within the facility
- Provide an efficient and professional administrative support, which includes:
- To provide excellent customer focus in a friendly and helpful manner, maintain the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with parents, patients, members of the public and departmental staff both in person and over the telephone.
- Undertaking administrative tasks to support patient flow, patient care and movements within the facility.
- Liaising with various departments with regards to resources required
