Tides Waterfront Dining is seeking an experienced Sous Chef or Head Chef to join our kitchen team for an immediate start. Located on the waterfront, Tides is known for high standards, fresh produce, and a dynamic service environment.
This is a full-time position suited to a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food.
About the role:
• Lead and support kitchen operations during service
• Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume, premium service environment
• Contribute to menu execution, preparation, and kitchen organisation
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards
About you:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in similar Sous Chef or Head Chef roles
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work calmly and decisively in a fast-paced setting
• Passion for quality produce and professional kitchen standards
• Reliable, adaptable, and ready for an immediate start
