About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong trading and risk management expertise to join our client's Supply & Energy Management (SEM) team. This role will be key in bridging business stakeholders (front office, risk, middle office, and operations) with IT teams, ensuring requirements are well captured, designed, and delivered to support trading operations across APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Design
: Gather, document, and translate requirements from traders, risk managers, and operations into functional specifications.
Trade Life Cycle & Risk
: Map front-to-back trade workflows, focusing on pricing, Greeks, P&L explain, and valuation. Partner with risk and product control teams to improve reporting and controls.
Stakeholder Engagement
: Facilitate workshops, manage expectations, and act as liaison between business and IT.
Testing & Deployment
: Define and coordinate UAT, support go-live activities, and ensure smooth change management.
Continuous Improvement
: Propose enhancements to improve automation, accuracy, and user experience, while maintaining documentation and system knowledge.
What We're Looking For
10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within trading, commodities, or financial services.
Strong knowledge of the trade life cycle, market risk, and trading workflows.
Hands-on experience with trading/risk systems (Orchestrade, Murex, Endur, Beacon, Calypso, or similar).
Strong grasp of trading concepts: Greeks, VaR, P&L explain, trade capture, and curve management.
Technical skills in SQL/Excel for data validation and analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
English required; French is a plus.
