The Role
We're looking for a Workforce Planner based on site in NSW. The position will manage the NSW Workforce Coordinator teams and proactively liaise with site managers to understand staffing requirements, develop workforce deployment, rostering and allocating sufficient resources to meet client needs accordingly.
Given the fast‑paced nature of the role, the candidate must be a logical problem solver, who takes the initiative in approach to resolution to find best outcomes for Quayclean. Accordingly, we are seeking a dynamic individual, who can react quickly, think on their feet, has great communication and take the initiative to solve problems.
Responsibilities
Strategic planning on major events administration and the resource requirements, functionality, and processes to be implemented.
Provide staff (recruitment and onboarding) and support across the NSW team to ensure collaboration of expertise and service delivery.
Manage planned and unplanned work, including resource allocation in consultation with the General Manager and Contract Managers.
Oversee the performance of the Workforce coordinator team to ensure KPIs are met, and progression made.
Recommend, develop, and implement systems and procedures to improve efficiency and future proof planning.
Become the SME on all key systems used throughout Quayclean to be able to assist where necessary to managers and supervisors.
Responsible for the delivery of social procurement obligation within contracts.
Complete weekly audits on staff compliance across the state.
Proactively engage with each venue/management and provide support where required.
To Succeed in This Role You Will Have
Prior experience in a recruitment, rostering, HR or administrative role (within cleaning or operations desirable but not necessary).
Demonstrated experience in planning multi‑faceted events including varying sizes, scope and venues.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate the planning of multiple events concurrently.
Logical problem solver – takes the initiative in approach to resolution to find best outcomes for Quayclean.
Excellent decision maker, who makes informed, effective and impartial decisions, without compromising integrity. Seeks clarification or support when required.
Ethical, reliable, honest and trustworthy individual, with a hardworking nature.
Technically savvy individual who embraces technology to achieve deliverables. Competently absorbs new technology when required.
Experience in Award interpretation is advantageous.
Tertiary education is advantageous.
