To be successful, you will have...
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance – Aged care or equivalent.
Demonstrated effective Interpersonal skills, written and verbal, inclusive of numeric skills.
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of safe manual handling procedures, including patient handling.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, including infection control guidelines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) is responsible for delivery of care within the scope of the duties of the AIN and under the supervision and delegation of a Nurse or Midwife. The AIN is responsible for the delivery of the delegated care in a safe and person-centred approach, in collaboration with patients, their families and nurses
