Overview
The Producers are the guardians of the Work. They execute ideas within or across multiple platforms and are responsible for identifying, attracting, and managing talent—whether in‐house or external—to deliver the best production value for creative concepts and client requirements. The role involves consulting and collaborating with Senior Producers, Creative, Account Service, and Account Management on executional approaches, style, and desired project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* End‐to‐end production management of integrated production, including TVCs, content videos, photography, activations, adaptations, and radio.
* Manage the production of assigned projects through the agency—primarily TVC/content, but may include activations, photography, print, and digital as required.
* Own projects from production briefing/concept approval through to final delivery.
* Financially manage projects:
o Co‐manage budgets with Account Management.
o Raise production estimates for internal and external costs and ensure they are approved.
o Monitor costs for discrepancies or overages, escalating when necessary.
o Prepare purchase orders and ensure external invoices are authorized timely.
o Reconcile jobs and maximize internal revenue capabilities.
* Ensure internal approvals are received from the wider team for costs, specifications, and other project requirements.
* Schedule projects, including preparing and maintaining production timings, flagging key milestones, and assisting Account Management with timelines.
* Oversee and manage all pre‐production (castings, locations, music, etc.) and production/asset creation.
* Attend and manage shoots, liaising between stakeholders—Clients, Agency, Externals—while maintaining Duty of Care (OH&S, Children's Guardian, etc.).
* Prepare and maintain job folders, server files, project summaries, rollover calendars, talent contracts, music contracts, and other documentation.
* Obtain creative and account management approvals at every stage and co‐manage brand guardianship with Account Management and Creative.
* Oversee delivery of material to media or clients, including CAD approval and dispatch.
* Commission external suppliers, prepare supplier briefs, receive and review quotations/timings, and commission work upon approval.
* Oversee Quality Assurance and assist in managing internal editor bookings/resources.
* Offer support to Senior Producers or Executive Producers as needed.
* Perform any other tasks as assigned.

* Knowledge of industry personnel, production houses, techniques, trends, and emerging directions.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple departments.
* Financial and accounting acumen for budget management.
* Negotiation and mediation skills.
* Passion for the creative process and a "can‐do" attitude.
* Ability to provide sound production advice and solve challenges swiftly.
