The Opportunity
We're opening a brand‑new premium Fitness First club in Double Bay launching Autumn 2026. We're looking for a standout Sales Manager to join us from early 2026 to drive the pre‑sales campaign and lead the membership experience post‑opening.
This is not a typical gym sales role. You'll be selling the elevated Fitness First Double Bay experience, including our full suite of Diamond‑level signature concepts:
* Reform Pilates
* Ceremony HIIT, our boutique‑style group training experience
* Revive Recovery, making premium recovery accessible to everyone
Plus, state‑of‑the‑art training zones, coworking lounges, premium changing rooms, and a stunning landscaped courtyard. The club also features a next‑level recovery offering including traditional and red‑light saunas, cold plunge tubs, cryotherapy beds, massage chairs, and compression boots – all included for members.
As Sales Manager, you'll lead the pre‑opening sales strategy, shape the member community from day one, and build a high‑performing front‑of‑house team focused on delivering an exceptional service‑led experience.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑opening (early 2026 – Autumn 2026)
* Lead the full membership pre‑sales strategy to achieve ambitious launch targets
* Build and coach a high‑performing sales team with a focus on value‑based selling
* Represent the club at local events and activations to generate brand awareness
* Create an exceptional early member journey that reflects the premium nature of the club
Post‑opening (June 2026 onward)
* Lead, coach, and develop your Member Support Consultant team
* Drive membership growth through acquisition, onboarding, and proactive retention
* Oversee front‑of‑house operations, setting the benchmark for premium service
* Monitor performance, set clear goals, and deliver ongoing coaching and training
* Partner with club and regional leaders to deliver membership growth initiatives
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of your front‑of‑house team
About You
We're looking for a polished sales leader who thrives in premium environments and understands how to sell value, not discounts.
* Proven success in high‑end sales, ideally within fitness, hospitality, property, or luxury retail
* Strong capability in value‑based selling and building long‑term member relationships
* Experience leading and motivating a sales or customer‑facing team
* Commercially minded, confident with KPIs, sales targets, and reporting
* A natural relationship‑builder who creates memorable first impressions
