**The Opportunity**:
A highly sought after **Permanent Full-Time** opportunity is available for a **Maintenance Planner / Scheduler** to join our operations team based in Ballarat 3350. As the Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities on our water and wastewater treatment plant assets.
You will provide advice and support to the Veolia team driving outcomes in order to achieve optimal asset reliability and performance.

**What you'll be responsible for**:
- Managing maintenance programs and safety procedures for all maintenance activities.
- Configuring maintenance programs to maximise life cycle, serviceability and availability of equipment.
- Reporting and monitoring maintenance costs and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensuring the schedule meets production priorities, and minimising downtime, where relevant.
- Manage and supervise contractors engaged in site activities and implement the organisation contractor management policy.
- Coordinating maintenance business cases and projects.
- Ensuring zero harm through all employees and contractors following and adhering to safe work practices.
**What you'll need to be successful**:
- Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
- Certificate in Water/Wastewater Operations (desired).
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning (desired).
- Sound knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment, fault-finding techniques.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of the Google suite of apps
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role.
- Drivers licence.
- Open to graduates with passion and keen interest in gaining experience within the industry.
