We are now embarking on an exciting new chapter. With our acclaimed bar and bistro already thriving, we are expanding into a collection of stunning new private dining and event spaces. These include intimate rooms for board dinners and milestone celebrations, through to a grand hall and terrace for weddings and large-scale events. Join Our Team
Hervé's is looking for a passionate Reservation & Events Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping unforgettable moments for our guests - from elegant weddings and milestone birthdays to corporate dinners and large celebrations. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless event coordination, reservation support, excellent customer service, and efficient office administration. The successful candidate will bring creativity, precision, and warmth to every event, ensuring each guest enjoys the elevated Hervé's experience from first enquiry to final toast.
Key Responsibilities
 * Driving business growth into our new event spaces & established restaurant and bar.
 * Expand business and commercial opportunities through quoting, converting, upselling, cross-selling, repeat business opportunities
 * Act as the friendly first point of contact for reservations & events across our venue, from enquiry through to operational fruition.
 * Strategically manage bookings to optimise space utilisation while tailoring the experience to each client's needs.
 * Preparation of accurate event quotes, contracts and payment invoices, event orders, and communications platform upkeep.
 * Refine and build system and processes to drive efficiency.
 * Develop and maintain event calendars.
 * Training in the requirements of the role to existing staff member to enable succession planning and coverage during periods of leave and/or days off.
 * Coordinate and deliver seamless weddings and events across Hervé's spaces, from intimate private dining to large canapé celebrations.
 * Partner with reservation and event clients to guide them through every step - from menu selection and beverage packages to theming, styling, and run-sheets.
 * Work closely with our culinary & service teams to ensure details are meticulously planned & executed.
 * Provide clear, professional communication with all stakeholders, fostering strong & lasting relationships.
 * Assistance as needed in Restaurant front of house as the events business builds momentum.
 * Create a personalised, memorable experience for every guest.
Key Requirements & Capabilities
 * Experience in an established events venue (3 to 5 years)
 * Strong customer service mindset with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
 * Proven track record of setting up systems and processes that support growth and efficiency.
 * Strong business development skills.
 * Strong background in food and beverage training.
 * Experience managing event budgets and maximising revenue through cost control
 * Strong background in hospitality in front-of-house roles at reputable venues.
 * Enjoys the challenge of building and shaping a new events business from the ground up.
 * Hard-working, proactive, and committed to delivering results.
 * Easy to work with - a collaborative, positive team player who contributes to a supportive culture.
 * Professionally groomed.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (event software experience desirable).
 * Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required
 * High level of attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Offer
This role is to start immediately, boasts a strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary plus a bonus based on event sales. Our ideal candidate would be open to working:
 * part-time moving into full-time as the events business gains momentum or
 * full-time - but taking on some front of house responsibilities as the event business gains momentum.
Work hour/days flexibility is needed due to the nature of events.
