We are representing a highly regarded surgeon and are seeking a professional, friendly Medical Receptionist to join their well-respected specialist practice in Liverpool
About the Role
In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the practice, ensuring patients receive a warm and efficient service from the moment they arrive. You will manage front desk operations, schedule appointments, liaise with patients and referrers, and assist the surgeon with administrative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting patients in a professional, compassionate manner
- Managing phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling
- Processing billing and Medicare claims
- Preparing and maintaining patient files and correspondence
- Coordinating with hospitals and other healthcare providers
Requirements
- Previous medical reception or administration experience (specialist or general practice preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Availability to commence immediately
