Export Logistics Specialist Job
We are seeking an experienced logistics export specialist to join our team. As an export logistics specialist, you will play a key role in arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination.
The role involves compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure as well as external body regulations.
* Ensure export sea consignments meet customer expectations and designated KPIs.
* Work together with the export team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered.
* Carry out export workflow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs and specified requirements.
* Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers, suppliers and service providers locally and overseas.
* Problem solve export issues with stakeholders including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders and customers.
* Enter data into CW1 accurately and in a timely manner.
* Plan and prioritize export shipments from the Export Workbench to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
* Calculate monetary issues such as invoice costings, GST, etc and weights and measures in relation to load sizes, space availability, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience with invoicing.
* A strong communicator offering excellent customer service, proactive problem-solving and responsive support.
* Proven experience in export logistics, with in-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures and industry-specific shipping requirements.
* Cargowise One knowledge and experience.
