About The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Leading Hand we are seeking a proactive and reliable Workshop Trade Assistant to join our team. You will be supporting the daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of workshop activities.
· Support mobile equipment maintenance through timely supply of parts, tooling, and consumables. · Assist in preventative maintenance by ensuring tool stores are managed and compliant. · Maintain strong housekeeping standards across stores, workshops, and staging areas. · Report safety, environmental hazards, and delays in parts supply to supervisors. · Provide support to ensure maintenance efficiency and accuracy.
About You
· maintenance system knowledge (preferred) · Experience operating a forklift (preferred) and performing manual handling tasks · Basic written and verbal communication skills · Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment · High attention to detail · Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team · Experience with warehousing / parts store operations
