Bunbury Senior High School (SHS) is perched on a hill overlooking both the cityscape of Bunbury and the extensive Bunbury beach front. The Role
Bunbury SHS is seeking an energetic and passionate Home Economics teacher to join their high performing team. The successful applicant should ideally possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be capable of delivering content in an engaging manner. They will provide students with a purposeful learning experience, tailored to develop student’s skills, knowledge and understanding related to Home Economics. They should ideally possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, colleagues, and parents. Additionally, they should be highly effective team members, actively contributing to a positive culture of success where students are motivated to achieve their personal best. We place value on linking learning with real-world experiences, ensuring students gain currency for pathways beyond school.

Mobility appointments
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school. Find out if you are eligible on IKON.
- Note that south west teachers are not eligible to move to another south west school under this trial.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
