We are looking for experienced and passionate FIFO Health & Wellness Coordinators {HWC} to join our remote site-based teams in the Pilbara on a FIFO basis from Perth with Casual and Fulltime contracts on offer.
This is a customer service focused role, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging health and wellbeing programs that provide a range of opportunities for residents to achieve physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological wellbeing.
This role will have the ability to contribute to the overall health and wellbeing program and shape the direction of the program at a site level.
About the Role
As the HWC, you’ll be responsible for;
1. Supporting the development of and implementing health and wellbeing programs/initiatives
2. Promoting lifestyle events at site that drive resident engagement and build a sense of village community
3. Monitor, manage and maintain all gym facilities and equipment
4. Deliver group fitness classes
5. Deliver prestart stretching
6. Conduct health assessments and prescribe individualised health plans where appropriate
7. Conduct gym screening assessments and manage gym databases
8. Create and deliver educational seminars for residents and Civeo staff
9. Follow communication and reporting processes as outlined by management
About You
Ideally, you will have:
10. A University degree in Exercise Physiology, Human Movement, Sports Science, or similar allied health, or a Cert III and IV in Fitness
11. Minimum 2 years previous experience working on a site-based environment in a similar role
12. Senior First Aid (Current or willing to obtain/enroll prior to start)
13. A passion for physical and mental health and wellbeing
14. A focus on customer service, engagement, and willingness to put yourself out there
15. A high level of written skill, including report writing
16. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
17. Strong leadership and motivational skills
18. The ability to manage your own workloads
19. Great computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Highly Desirable Criteria
20. Additional university qualifications in health promotion, nutrition, physical education or similar
21. Additional qualifications in group fitness
22. Experience in developing and working with rehabilitation programs for injured workers
23. Have completed all mobilisation requirements for access to FMG sites
