Senior Management Accountant
We seek a driven Senior Management Accountant to join our diverse and dynamic Finance team. This head office role looks after the many business units in the group, offering an opportunity to learn and gain experience in a range of industries.
In this role you will:
* Prepare and analyze management reports and financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure that revenue and cost allocations accurately reflect the activities of all departments.
* Provide management with timely and accurate financial information through financial modelling and key performance indicators to support and enhance decision‐making.
* Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, including operational and capital expenditure.
* Prepare audit files for half‐year and full‐year accounts.
* Show strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities.
* Possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
* Communicate complex financial information effectively, both in writing and verbally.
* Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation.
* Adapt flexibly to changing business needs and priorities.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* A professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent).
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in management accounting, preferably in the international freight forwarding and logistics industries.
* Advanced Excel skills, experience with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) and a working knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, collaborative and problem‐solving approach.
* Right to live and work in Australia.
