Job Description
* Lead and manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting
* Prepare, manage and track budgets aligned to organisational priorities
* Contribute to financial strategy and long-term sustainability planning
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and obligations
* Provide financial insights and analysis to support leadership decisions
* Oversee and support the finance team to ensure effective delivery
* Manage payroll, accounts payable and receivable processes
* Liaise with external auditors and key stakeholders as required
The Successful Applicant
* CA/CPA qualified
* Proven experience in a hands-on finance role, working within a small tight knit team
* Strong capability across reporting, payroll, budgeting and compliance
* Sound knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements
* Ideally experience managing audits, funding, grants or not-for-profit reporting
* Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience supervising or mentoring staff
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into insights
* Excellent communication skills, able to partner with non-finance stakeholders
* High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability
* A collaborative mindset with alignment to a values-driven, purpose-led organisation
