THE POSITION
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hospital staff across various departments.
* Monitor helpdesk systems, logging, and tracking all support requests and incidents.
* Prioritise and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
* Work collaboratively with other IT support team members to resolve complex issues.
* Follow hospital IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to ensure compliance.
THE PERSON
* Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, with a strong technical foundation.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
* Familiarity with ticketing systems and tracking tools used for managing IT requests.
* Able to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical users.
* Proficiency in helpdesk systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
