Transportation and Tour Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation and Tour Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting guests safely between locations, conducting pre-trip safety checks, and assisting with boarding and special requirements.
The role requires a valid Light Rigid Licence and 1-2 years of experience in guest-facing roles or tour operations. Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Transport guests safely between designated locations (3 trips per day)
* Conduct pre-trip safety checks and basic maintenance on vehicles
* Assist guests with boarding, luggage, and special requirements
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
* Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures
* Support daily tour operations, including preparing boats, vehicles, and equipment
* Welcome and assist guests during boarding and transfers
* Assist with guest manifests, logistics, and tour documentation
* Participate in cultural and tourism training to build guiding skills
* Work alongside Indigenous cultural ambassadors to support cultural engagement
* Promote park experiences and lodge activities to guests
