ACHGroup are looking for a Full Time Catering Assistant, to join our large-scale Central Kitchen at Holden Hill.
What you'll do
In the central kitchen, you will support the preparation of meals at the modern cook‑chill food production kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Chefs with meal preparation and distribution.
* Ensuring meticulous documentation.
* Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Operating industrial dish washers to ensure equipment cleanliness.
* Provide support for various other kitchen tasks and duties.
About You
* Experience working in a kitchen is essential.
* Experience working within a production kitchen environment (desirable).
* Previous experience in meal preparation and food handling.
* An understanding of dietary requirements of older people.
* Strong communication / documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
* A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups, no less than 12 months old upon commencement.

ACHGroup is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector. This means that you can salary package up to $15,900 per annum for living expenses and $2,650 for meals / entertainment to reduce your tax.
