**About the role**
As the HSEQ Manager you'll be responsible for the safety, environment and quality of Paintback's people and product respectively. Critical in the immediate term will be the safe construction, commissioning, and start-up of the new facility, and the responsible integration of more of their supply chain. As a for-purpose organisation that is undertaking significant growth in new operations, there will be an ongoing need to expand and improve their existing HSE framework, systems, processes, and organisational behaviours.
**About you**
We're seeking both established HSEQ practitioners from the broader manufacturing space, OR process engineers from a Major Hazard Facility background with a passion for safety.
- Relevant tertiary degree
- Experience in a dedicated safety role within the manufacturing industry, or as a process engineer in a Major Hazard Facility
- Additional safety qualifications would be beneficial
- Assertive and action-oriented nature - courage to promote behaviour change and drive a safety culture
- Able to think broadly 'as an owner' across the broader business
- Can engage constructively with everyone from shop floor through to executive, staff or supplier
