Position Overview
Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, offering ambulatory to inpatient and home and community‐based services.
Position Details
- Fixed‐term parental leave position until 7th October 2026
- Part time (32 hours per fortnight)
- Neuropsychologist Grade 3, Years 1–4 (PL1–PL4)
- Located at Caulfield Hospital – Community Rehabilitation Program

The Department
The Alfred Health Community Rehabilitation Program delivers home and centre‐based rehabilitation as well as falls clinic services. The interdisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, a neuropsychologist, a clinical psychologist, allied health assistants, rehabilitation medicine doctors, community health nurses, pharmacists and social workers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Neuropsychologist you will:
- Provide neuropsychological assessment and treatment programs.
- Liaise with team members to support goal setting and treatment planning.
- Deliver education to clients and their families/carers.
Key Capabilities (Grade 3)
- Minimum five years of clinical experience.
- Specialist skills in assessment and management of psychological disorders and behaviour.
- Recent experience in rehabilitation or aged care.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to evaluate and modify service delivery in accordance with evidence‐based practice.
- Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork.
- Demonstrated participation in professional development relevant to the position.
- Ability to take initiative and respond to changes in caseload.
- Current Victorian driver's licence (unrestricted).
