**The role**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans to support the agency's goals and objectives
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the agency and stakeholders, including community organizations, advocacy groups, and other key partners
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and collaboration
- Conduct research and analysis to understand stakeholder needs and priorities, and use this information to inform engagement plans
- Represent the agency at meetings and events with stakeholders, and provide regular updates on engagement activities and outcomes
- Support project teams by providing advice and guidance on stakeholder engagement best practices
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external audiences on stakeholder engagement activities and outcomes
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public relations, communication, or marketing
- At least 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, public relations, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of stakeholder engagement best practices, including engagement with diverse communities and the use of digital tools for engagement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with government processes and regulations is an advantage
