Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for digital systems.
* Create and maintain technical templates, guides, and documentation frameworks.
* Produce Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) in alignment with departmental standards.
* Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to gather information and translate complex concepts into accessible documentation.
* Ensure documentation is consistent, accurate, and compliant with departmental requirements.
* Prepare diagrams, workflows, and visual documentation using Microsoft Visio.
* Format and present documentation professionally using MS Word and PowerPoint.
The Successful Applicant
Skills and Experience
* 2-3 years experience in a technical writing role.
* Demonstrated experience writing technical documentation for digital systems.
* Proven ability to create structured templates and documentation assets.
* Experience developing Disaster Recovery Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a government environment.
