Event Planner and Coordinator
Deliver exceptional event experiences by coordinating conferences and events at a leading resort. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversee all aspects of event planning, including contracts, invoicing, vendor liaison, and internal department coordination
* Evaluate event proposals, selecting those that align with hotel availability and marketing objectives
* Contribute to promotional strategies to enhance the event planning process
* Negotiate space agreements, book event spaces, arrange catering, procure supplies, and ensure décor meets quality standards
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the resort's features to effectively promote them to clients. Requires 6+ months' experience in a similar role within tourism or hospitality, strong sales and relationship-building skills, excellent communication and attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
