About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill this employment law position.
Responsibilities
* Advise on a wide range of legal matters, including litigation, regulatory issues, policy development and complex case management.
* Partner with HR leaders, executives, and external advisors to deliver high-quality, pragmatic solutions that support business objectives.
* Lead the management of significant disputes, including representing the organisation in tribunals and courts, and overseeing external counsel where required.
* Contribute to key projects, transactions, and strategic initiatives with legal implications.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships across the HR community, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
About You
* You have substantial experience in employment law, either in private practice or in-house.
* You have a strong track record managing disputes and advising on complex legal issues.
* You have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
* You have the ability to balance technical expertise with practical, solutions-focused advice.
* You have a collaborative style and growth mindset, with a desire to learn, share knowledge and support others.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in Law or a related field.
* Substantial experience in employment law.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
