About the role
We are seeking a full time Senior Accountant to join the Tax & Advisory team at AMD in our Bunbury office. The primary focus of this role is to undertake income tax compliance and advisory services within a public practice environment to a broad range of clients, which would include the following:
* Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards
* Preparation of income tax returns for all types of entities
* Reviewing ASIC Forms and other documents regarding Corporate Secretarial requirements
* Researching and understanding of difficult tax technical issues and application of issues to clients' circumstances
* Identifying and advising on client business and tax issues
* Developing skills and knowledge in business advisory services
About you
To be successful for this role, ideally you will have the following experience and attributes:
* 3+ years' of experience within a Chartered Accounting or public practice firm
* Completion of Bachelor of Commerce Degree (or similar)
* Commenced or successfully completed the CA Program or CPA Program
* IT skills - use of Xero (XPM), MYOB Fathom, Castaway, Microsoft Office Suite
* High level of communication, written and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail and a proactive, capable and helpful approach
* Current drivers licence with own transport
* National police clearance no older than 3 months or be able to obtain
