About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people? Do you enjoy bringing joy, connection, and purpose to others through meaningful activities? We're currently seeking a permanent Lifestyle Assistant to join our growing residential care community. In this rewarding role, you will help deliver engaging, resident-led programs that support wellbeing, foster connection, and promote overall health. From creative arts to social events and gentle exercise, you will help create a vibrant, inclusive environment where residents feel valued and empowered to live each day with purpose.
About You
You're an enthusiastic, compassionate, and creative individual who's passionate about helping people live their best lives. You naturally connect with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and linguistic backgrounds, and you are committed to supporting residents in maintaining their independence and enhancing their overall wellbeing. You thrive in a team environment and enjoy working collaboratively to make a positive impact every day. The successful applicant will hold or be willing to obtain a Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health.
Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment. In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, resident-led programs that support wellbeing, foster connection, and promote overall health.
* Assist with a range of activities from creative arts to social events and gentle exercise.
* Help create a vibrant, inclusive environment where residents feel valued and empowered to live each day with purpose.
* Support part-time permanent and casual positions as appropriate.
