The Team Leader of Group Activities & Transport is responsible for the effective delivery of Groups and Transport services. This key leadership role ensures the delivery of transport and social support group services that meet quality standards, align with organizational missions and values, and establish regional partnerships to identify new opportunities for business development.
This role will ensure that services offered by the organization meet the needs of local communities. The position involves no more than 20% direct client contact.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Develop, implement, and maintain business development activities by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and promoting Group and Transport Services.
* Manage daily operations of the programs, including line management of all staff involved in Group Activities and Transport within the region.
* Ensure all policies and procedures comply with legislative, funding, and organizational requirements.
* Develop, monitor, and report on program budgets and operational plans.
* Foster a positive team culture aligned with organizational mission and values, ensuring dignity and respect for all workers, clients, and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months experience and knowledge in providing Group and Transport services and/or Community Care service delivery to clients (mandatory).
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (desirable).
* Experience leading a team, including both direct and indirect reports.
