Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer In General Practice Sexual Assault
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visiting Medical Officer to join our team in General Practice Sexual Assault Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical and forensic care to adults and adolescents who have been sexually assaulted.
About You:
* You must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner or hold overseas trained specialist pathways.
* You should have availability to participate in a minimum of 3 shifts per month in an on-call roster and respond on site within a reasonable time.
* You should provide best practice, evidence-based clinical services to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide trauma-informed care.
* You should undertake supervision and education within the clinical environment of junior medical staff and other relevant staff to foster safe clinical practice.

Other Information:
A third COVID-19 dose is a requirement for Category A positions, as is one dose of the current Southern hemisphere influenza vaccine registered for use by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
