Full-time, on-site position with standard hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am–5:00pm
About the Role
As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for:
* Manufacturing and repairing moulds, jigs, dies, and precision tooling.
* Operating manual and CNC machinery, including wire cutting and welding equipment.
* Troubleshooting tooling and mechanical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
* Producing and checking detailed tooling to exact tolerances.
* Ensuring moulds are set up, inspected, and approved for production.
* Heat-treating, brazing, or welding parts during fabrication as required.
* Maintaining tools, dies, equipment, and workshop machinery in top condition.
* Contributing to continuous improvements in tooling, safety, and quality.
Qualifications & Skills
* Toolmaking Certificate or Diploma.
* Extensive toolmaking and precision machining experience.
* Strong CAD/CAM and mechanical skills.
* Proven experience with CNC tooling, troubleshooting, and repairs.
* Solid understanding of injection moulding tool design and manufacture.
* Proficiency in wire cutting, welding, and manual toolroom machinery.
* Commitment to safe work practices and quality systems.
