Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Procurement Solutions team. As a key player, you will support the end-to-end procurement of goods and services across the organisation.
You will be responsible for contributing to both simple and complex procurement activities, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and delivering value-for-money outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of the Goods and Services Procurement Framework
* Ensure procurement processes align with organisational policies and guidelines
* Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
* Support tendering activities, including preparing documentation and evaluating submissions
* Provide advice to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices
* Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities
Requirements:
* A solid understanding of procurement principles and practices
* Experience in preparing tender documentation and evaluating supplier proposals
* Experience in procurement within infrastructure or construction environments (public sector experience desirable)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
