Job Title: Placement Coordinator
The role of the Placement Coordinator is to develop and implement placement strategies that meet the needs of students, staff, and industry partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
This position involves coordinating student placements within social sciences and social work disciplines, including identifying and negotiating suitable professional work placements that meet government and accreditation requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with academic convenors and student services to facilitate the identification, monitoring, and support of at-risk students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the planning, sourcing, and organization of student placements
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to coordinate student placements
* Build and maintain external partnerships to establish long-term relationships for enhanced placement experiences
* Work closely with academic convenors and student services to facilitate student support
Requirements:
To be considered, you must hold Australian working rights or citizenship, and possess a relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience within health, welfare, and/or policy sectors. You will also need strong project management skills, high-level interpersonal communication skills, and proficiency in computing skills.

A Bachelor of Social Work or other relevant health/welfare qualification is highly desirable.
