DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance / Turn Technician to join our client's team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for preparing vacant apartments for new tenants by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vacant apartments to assess maintenance needs and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform repairs and improvements, including painting, drywall work, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
* Ensure all appliances, fixtures, and systems are functioning properly prior to tenant move-in.
* Coordinate and execute the clean-up and turnover of units, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and supplies used.
* Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
* Proven experience in apartment maintenance or similar roles.
* Strong knowledge of repair techniques in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* A clear background is required by the customer.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
