Program Manager
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and develop programs that support the education and well-being of young people.
The successful candidate will have experience in program planning, coordination and implementation, as well as strong relationships with students, community members and schools.
They will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting First Nation students, facilitating workshops, providing in-class tutoring and outside class assistance.
Additionally, they will provide life skills and school engagement activities, organize physical education activities, and create Personalised Learning Pathway Plans for Nasca students.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement program plans that align with organizational goals and objectives
* Build and maintain meaningful relationships with students, community members and school staff
* Mentor and support First Nation students through facilitation, presentation and tutoring
* Provide life skills and school engagement activities that promote social and emotional well-being
* Organize physical education activities that include Traditional Indigenous Games
* Create Personalised Learning Pathway Plans for Nasca students
Requirements
* Qualifications in teaching, social sciences, Indigenous studies, coaching, youth and community services, or Health
* Experience in program planning, coordination and implementation
* Strong relationships with students, community members and school staff
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactivity with a high degree of autonomy and initiative
