Undertaking this **two-year traineeship** will give you the opportunity to become a qualified environmental Field Technician while completing your **MSL30116 Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.**
You will develop skills on encompassing the setup of environmental monitoring, using and calibrating equipment used for the environmental sampling and field analysis of air and water. This will also include the entry of results into spreadsheets and data bases and other general equipment maintenance. You will learn a variety of valuable skills to become a successful Environmental Field Technician.
This position is located in **Warabrook** **NSW**, where you will be hosted with a well-respected and well-known American multinational engineering firm that delivers professional services in transportation, buildings, water, new energy and the environment.

**WHO SHOULD APPLY?**
We are looking for someone technically minded who has high attention to detail, strong commitment to quality and good time management skills. You will have a high standard of safety awareness, the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personnel and stakeholders, and excellent reliability. You will be a team player who can also work independently and be willing to work weekends if required.
**Requirements**:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and emphasis on Excel.
- Driver's licence required - (Minimum P2) Manual Preferred.
- Fully vaccinated for Covid19 & Hepatitis vaccination status required.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
