About the role

Deliver Advanced Nuclear Medicine clinical services ensuring the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care that supports excellence in clinical service delivery, quality improvement, research and clinical trials.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Contribute to strategic level management processes, applying advanced level clinical knowledge to challenge existing protocols and advocating services provided from the department of nuclear medicine TPCH in the development of new policy.
- Assist in establishing broad criteria for the development of professional standards, education and research protocols within the Service.
- Lead change management processes through collaborative development of Nuclear Medicine Technologist clinical practices, policies and protocols.
- Provide leadership in the professional development of Nuclear Medicine Technologist clinicians within the service, facilitating competency training.
- Provide clinical practice supervision, including a role in competency training and skill development to less experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist practitioners within the specific area of expertise.
- Co-ordinate the development and delivery of education for undergraduates on clinical placement and in Graduate Nuclear Medicine technologists.
