Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) is the national peak body representing professional fundraising in Australia. Our mission is to build a vibrant community of best-practice fundraisers and a culture of professional fundraising which we do through education and training, support and advocacy, and the promotion and protection of the fundraising sector.
Fundraise 4 Australia is a fully funded education program designed to tackle Australia's growing fundraising talent gap and equip a new generation of fundraisers. The program is directly addressing this with the goal of training early career and aspiring fundraisers, particularly from diverse and under-represented communities, by providing them with knowledge, tools, and strategies.
About the role
Part-time Fixed Contract - 14 months (22.5 hours per week)
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Professional Education & Partnerships, this role is responsible for sourcing, engaging and recruiting participants into the Fundraise 4 Australia Program. You will build and manage a diverse candidate pipeline, ensure recruitment targets are met, and deliver an ethical, inclusive and positive experience for all applicants.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Proactive sourcing and outreach across professional networks, education providers and community organisations
* Building and managing a strong, diverse pipeline of candidates
* Guiding applicants through the recruitment process from first contact to cohort placement
* Working closely with program leadership to support successful cohort outcomes
* Providing recruitment insights and reporting to support continuous improvement
What does our ideal candidate look like?
* You have 8 - 10years' experience in a similar role
* You bring experience in recruitment, fundraising, sales or talent acquisition, ideally within the non-profit, education or training sectors
* You are highly organised, comfortable managing multiple recruitment cycles, and confident engaging with candidates and stakeholders
* You value inclusive recruitment practices and communicate with warmth, professionalism and credibility
* Superior communication skills, written and verbal
* Knowledge or experience working within a membership-based organisation or professional association
* You have full Australian working rights with NO restrictions
